Tryggere KI is currently run entirely by volunteers. None of us are paid, and the organisation has no funding for operations. This has worked for getting started, but it is not sustainable.
Who does the work?
Our chair, Ludvig Lilleby Johansson, quit his job as an AI consultant and developer to work full-time on Tryggere KI, and lives off savings. Co-founder Kristian Wold spends half of his working week on Tryggere KI, alongside a position at OsloMet. The rest of us contribute in our spare time, alongside jobs and studies.
Independence
We want to be funded by foundations, individuals and others with no financial stake in AI development. For example, we do not want funding from AI companies.
We are independent, and no donors get to make demands about what we think or say.
